Job Title: Face-to-Face PTE Trainer – Clayton Branch About the Role We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced PTE and IELTS Trainer to conduct in-person classes at our Clayton centre. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, a passion for teaching, and a solid understanding of PTE exam strategies. Key Responsibilities Deliver face-to-face PTE Academic sessions (Speaking, Writing, Reading & Listening). Prepare lesson plans, practice materials, and mock test activities. Evaluate students’ performance and provide actionable feedback. Conduct weekly/fortnightly mock tests and explain scoring patterns. Support students in achieving their target PTE scores (e.g., 50, 65, 79+). Track attendance, progress reports, and maintain class discipline. Stay updated with PTE exam scoring changes and teaching methodologies. Assist with student queries, counselling, and onboarding when required. Required Skills & Qualifications Prior experience teaching PTE or other English proficiency tests (IELTS, TOEFL, CELPIP) preferred. Strong command of English grammar, pronunciation, and test-taking techniques. Excellent communication and classroom management skills. Ability to adapt teaching style for mixed-ability groups. Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics or related field (preferred but not mandatory). Preferred Attributes High score in PTE Academic (79+ is a must). Ability to motivate students and create an engaging learning environment. Familiarity with PTE AI-scoring tools and online practice platforms. Work Schedule On-site at Clayton Branch (Melbourne) .
