Role description Due to continued work and the commencement of new projects, our Urban Development & Regeneration division is looking for a Senior or Principal Civil Designer to help us ensure project delivery across a range of sectors from major residential, industrial and commercial land/urban development projects to health, education and infrastructure. Role accountabilities Providing quality delivery of the designs using 12D and/or Civil 3D Successfully managing, planning, resourcing and completing assigned modelling projects within agreed budgets and deadlines Assisting the Project Manager in determining drafting and other design resources required for a project plan, including elements suitable for outsourcing Ensuring the production of project documents that are accurate, clear and concise and compliant with best practice and any other quality standards dictated by the nature of the project Resolving complex technical drafting and design issues Developing and maintaining professional relationships with Project Managers, Design Engineers and drafters within other disciplines Qualifications & Experience Relevant engineering degree and/or professional certifications At least 5+ years of demonstrated industry experience in the application of 12D and/or Civil 3D software, with in‑depth knowledge of civil design standards Experience using various software programs such as 12D, 12D Synergy, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ACC Docs Design knowledge in road design, earthworks/grading design and utilities design Excellent client focus and strong technical know‑how Ability to develop elements of design from concept sketches to detailed drawings Why Arcadis?
