Base pay range $60,000/yr - $80,000/yr Immediate Start Hybrid Work Environment 3 month possible extension This statutory authority, is seeking Procurement Specialists who will play a critical role in managing end-to-end procurement processes, providing expert commercial and procurement advice, and ensuring compliance with government policies and organisational procedures. Key Responsibilities Manage the planning and execution of tender processes from concept to contract. Identify, plan, and oversee project activities, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria. Provide expert guidance on tendering methods, business cases, briefing notes, Finance Committee papers, and Board reports. Liaise with contract managers to ensure effective contract handover and lifecycle support. Ensure tender processes comply with statutory, government, and organisational policies, including sustainable procurement initiatives. Develop detailed project plans with timelines and milestones for approval by stakeholders. Lead negotiations for renewals, extensions, or variations of contracts. Collaborate with legal, financial, and probity advisers as required. Ideal Candidate Ability to work independently and hit the ground running with minimal training. Resilient and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Extensive experience in end-to-end government tender processes (VGPB or equivalent). Strong commercial acumen and adherence to procurement governance. Skilled in drafting business cases, board reports, and briefing notes. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and provide expert advice. What We Offer Hybrid working model with 2 days in-office per week.
