ABOUT THE ROLE The Marketing & Communications Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the development and execution of marketing & communications initiatives aligned with Rugby WA's Strategic Plan. This role focuses on enhancing the brand's profile, promoting rugby to new and existing audiences, and driving participation growth through targeted marketing & communications efforts. The coordinator will utilise data-driven insights to help shape campaigns and initiatives that attract and retain participants while managing the communications function within the organisation. CORE DUTIES Support the GM of Commercial, Marketing & Media in creating and executing operational plans for marketing, brand, communications, and partner engagement across multiple channels, including social media. Assist in implementing the go-to-market (GTM) strategy, focusing on driving business growth, and providing performance reports on marketing campaigns. Coordinate and execute marketing campaigns, events, and activations that promote rugby and support organisational objectives. Manage end-to-end delivery of campaigns, ensuring timelines, budgets, and stakeholders are effectively coordinated. Track and monitor campaign performance using agreed metrics and reporting frameworks. Develop post-campaign performance reports, providing insights and recommendations to inform future marketing activity and achieve business outcomes. Act as the primary media contact, managing day-to-day media enquiries and relationships. Lead the development and writing of all communications materials, including media releases, annual report, speeches, statements, and key messaging. Manage and maintain the organisation’s Content Management System (CMS), ensuring website content is accurate, up to date, and aligned with brand and campaign priorities. Plan, build, and deploy campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including email communications, audience segmentation, and journey management. Manage and maintain marketing collateral, including signage, posters, and other promotional materials. Plan and oversee brand photoshoots and create related communications content. In conjunction with the Digital Content Coordinator, assist with digital and social media activities, ensuring alignment with brand and partner marketing goals. Manage website content, analyse website performance, and leverage data to improve campaign effectiveness Assist with reactive media enquiries, producing media materials, organising media briefings and preparing media reporting. Support the delivery of effective, well-evidenced and targeted community and stakeholder engagement activities. Assist with the planning, production, coordination and implementation of communications materials, campaigns and programs across various projects. Assist in coordinating events, presentations, displays and support project teams at corporate and community engagement activities. ABOUT YOU Previous experience in a similar Marketing role Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline such as Marketing, Business or Communications Demonstrated experience in managing multiple campaigns and the ability to prioritise workload autonomously Knowledge & experience in developing and implementing marketing strategies Experience in creating compelling, high-quality content that resonates with our stakeholders Highly developed interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with internal and external parties and stakeholders. A Self-Starter with a proactive attitude The ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive, high performing team Flexible approach to work hours, including the ability to work weekends where required Current Working with Children clearance WA Drivers Licence Knowledge of CMS & Salesforce Marketing Cloud Intermediate level of computer literacy (MS Office) WHY WORK FOR US?
