Volunteers should demonstrate: attention to detail computer literacy skills interpersonal skills team work skills time management skills good English comprehension, reading and writing skills fluency as an English language speaker capacity to develop a clear reading voice with tone and interest strong listening skills an interest in media, news and current affairs capacity to work with minimal supervision Desirable Skills (Not Essential) Public speaking/ promotion and stakeholder engagement skills Recording/ editing software skills Working with people who are blind or have low vision Category Community Services Commitment Regular - more than 6 months Type Of Work Disability Support, Marketing, Media & Communications, Music & Entertainment, Seniors & Aged Care Time Required Variable & flexible. Open to negotiate. Possibly 4 hours per week to start. Volunteers are required for a 2 hour period, inclusive of 1 hour prep time followed by 1 hour live to air.
