Hawkesdale - Early Childhood Educator Centre Based Care Room Leader Permanent part‑time position as Leader of the program at Hawkesdale and District Family Services Centre. Days of work are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday weekly. We are currently seeking an appropriately experienced diploma qualified Early Childhood Educator for an exciting opportunity to lead a quality education and care program for rural children and their families. To be successful in this role you will need Qualifications Essential Driver licence Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent in accordance with requirements of the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations Current first aid certificate (including anaphylaxis and asthma training) Employee working with children check Experience Desirable Several years experience working in the early childhood sector Key selection criteria 1 Sound knowledge and experience in the implementation of the Victorian Early Years Development Framework, Early Years Framework and the National Quality Standards. Key selection criteria 2 Sound knowledge and understanding of Child Safe Standards and mandatory reporting requirements. Key selection criteria 3 Experience managing teams and developing a positive workplace culture.
