HCL in ANZ is focused in providingsoftware-led IT solutions, Enterprise and Applications Consulting, remoteinfrastructure management, BPO services and IT Hardware and Systems Integrationwith offices based in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Auckland& Wellington.Location- SydneyNumber of Positions: 5Senior Technical Lead is responsible fordeveloping the fast, secure, scalable and maintainable applications that willmake us stand out from the crowd by ensuring the quality and enabling Companyemployees to do their work effectively.·Responsible for development and maintenance of theapplication built using Universe programming language11.3.1 & Java/J2EE framework· Tracking all levels of the normal,recurring, critical batch failures in the application level and giving thepermanent resolution code fix by using a problem record in productionenvironment.·Provide support during the application delivery times andable to handle the issues during the deployment.·Responsible for problem management and to performpreventive/ proactive maintenance changes for the supported applications underproblem management.·Acknowledging incidents, service requests and resolvingthen in a timely manner based on the SLA defined·Documenting all the changes that are made to theapplications and managing the documentation·Responsible for test case preparation and Unit Testing forsmall work requests/Enhancements.·Monitoring and providing the technical support to theapplications during and after implementation· Action on service requests/changes inthe production environment with proper business impact analysis forimplementing those changes/SR’s to ensure business as usual in applicationperspective·Classify the defects raised and undertake an immediateeffort to fix them ensuring a smoother delivery.·Building and executing the unit test cases and ensure ahigh-quality code as per standards.· Automating the daily manualworkarounds using the shell scripts in the production environment to reduce theunwanted manual efforts.·Performing requirement analyses.·Developing high-quality and detailed designs.·Conducting unit testing using automated unit test frameworkslike BDD.·Create architecture plans and communicate vision to variousstakeholders·Guide implementation of back-end architecture and frameworklike Microservices, and understand frontend frameworks, including AngularJS·Collaborate with Product Development, Internal IT, QA andClient Support teams to deliver high quality products·Coordinate business & front-line technical supportteams to provide production support·Mentor teams on best practices, programming frameworks andmethodologies·Knowledge on Java, Kafka, Datadog, AWS, Azure, CI/CD, DevOps and SQL Server Database.Education & Qualification:·Bachelor’s degree in engineering with at least 13-15 years’experience with the following technologies.·Application Servers: Tomcat, JetSpeed, WebSphereApplication Server, WebSphere Portal Server, Oracle Application Server, Grunt·Strong working knowledge in Databases: Universe DB Oracle,GraphDB, MongoDB, PL/SQL· Universe programming language 11.3.1,AIX 7.2, J2EE, JSF 2.0, Apache, Struts 2.3, Spring, JMS, REST Web Services, EJB2.0, IBM WebSphere Portal (6.0,8.0), Oracle 11g· Strong working knowledge on latesttechnology:
