Direct Furniture isfast growing family owned business with three locations in Midland, Welshpool and Port Kennedy and isexpanding and opening a new fourth locationNorth of the River in the Joondalup Area. We are looking for a Full-Time Furniture Retail Manager. 5 Day work week with preference to be able to work on Saturday and Sundays. Attractive Annual Salary with Bonus earning potential for commission as the store grows and performs. No age limit, experience preferred. Annual Salary between $60,000 to $80,000 depending on the right candidate and experience. Bonus earning potential for commission based incentive as the business and store grows. Qualifications Preferably someone with previousmanagerialretail experience (preferably in the bedding/furniture industry). Experience with strong customer service and attention to detail Understanding of visual merchandising standards Someone with good verbal communication skills and decency in English fluency Someone who has computer literacy as most tasks are handled in the system High attention to detail to ensure all goods are correctly labelled and priced Ability to lead and work in a small team and follow procedural steps Preferred to be able to work Saturday and Sundays and rostered Public Holidays Key Responsibilities Lead the sales team and focus on closing sales, writing up sales quotes and invoices using a POS system. Following up on customer enquiries/queries by phone and email. Record customer problemsand Ensure timely resolution of customer complains and adhere to company policies/procedures. Knowledge of knowing and being able to explain assembly of sofa/beds/cabinets to customer Maintain professional showroom tidiness. Vacuuming and keeping showroom floor tidy. Making sure visual merchandising standards are met.
