Chef / Trade Cook - Creswick

Our Creswick Trade Cook/Chef reports to the Manager Hotel Services and works within the Central Highlands Rural Health policies and procedures. The position requires the preparation and supply of meals for Acute, Aged Care and Meals on Wheels and special events. Responsibilities include the ordering of provisions in accordance with the approved menu, supervision of the Kitchen Hands on duty and liaison with other kitchen staff to ensure that the kitchen operates according to the set guidelines. Suitable candidates will be interviewed as applications are received which may result in this position closing prior to the closing date listed. Early submissions encouraged. Details of Appointment: Permanent part-time position contract for 24 hours per fortnight with the opportunity to work up to 76 hours. The position is based at Creswick. Shifts may include weekend rotations. Salary: Subject to qualifications - Trade Cook @ $33.27 or Chef up to $36.00 per hour.
