Your Impact Your prime responsibility is to provide technical sales support and recommendations to internal and external customers on the Cisco Security Solutions Portfolio. The successful candidate will have wide-ranging knowledge and experience across the information security domain. Through a consultative approach, the Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer will be expected to articulate the benefits of the Cisco Security Platform and integrated Architecture across Hybrid Cloud Transformation, Trusted Access, Security Operations and IoT. The role holder will be an excellent communicator and adept in having business and technical conversations at different levels with customers, partners and internal team members. Key Responsibilities Technical Expertise - Demonstrate strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technology stacks, and industry trends to clearly communicate the value of our solutions. Solution Presentations - Partner with sales to deliver tailored presentations and demos that address customers' unique cybersecurity needs. Relationship Building - Build trusted relationships with prospective customers and partners, providing personalized solutions that support diversity and inclusion. Requirements Gathering - Assess customer needs and frameworks to identify risks and propose customized cybersecurity solutions. Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work with teams across product, engineering, and marketing to share insights and support a diverse, inclusive workplace. Minimum Qualifications Excellent understanding of cybersecurity concepts, technologies, and standards/guidelines with consistent track record in a pre-sales or technical sales role within the cybersecurity industry. Industry certifications such as SABSA, CISSP, CCSP etc and/or a Cisco CCIE Security will be very highly regarded Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field is highly preferred Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically Ability to build and nurture collaborative relationships Why Cisco?
