Founded by The Sisters of Charity in 1857, our +30,000 healthcare superheroes operate public and private hospitals, residential aged care, community and virtual care, and outreach programs. An opportunity has become available for a Cardiac Data Manager and Administrator to join the SVPHS team. About the role We are looking for a Cardiac Data Manager to join our busy Surgical Services team. This role will play a pivotal part in supporting our Cardiology and Cardiothoracic Departments. You will work with Surgeons, Nurses, Cardiologists and internal teams to keep all data collection activities correct. This clinical data benchmarks the performance, safety and quality in the delivery of healthcare services by collecting key clinical information from individual healthcare episodes that allow for risk‑adjusted outcomes. In addition, the Data Manager is responsible for producing reports and analysing and internally auditing site‑specific data. Your responsibilities include but not limited to: Ensure optimal clinical management of data under the supervision of key cardiac and cardiothoracic clinicians. Ensure suitable patients are identified for each registry. Call patients as part of follow‑up for the registries. What we would like from you Proven expertise in managing, validating, and maintaining high‑quality clinical or activity‑based data within complex environments. Strong ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders to enhance data quality and understanding across clinical and operational teams. Skilled in translating complex data into clear, meaningful insights for decision‑making and reporting. Demonstrated capability to manage competing priorities while driving process and system improvements. Strong analytical mindset with a commitment to data integrity, confidentiality, and continuous improvement. Why work at St Vincent's? Join us on our mission to provide care to all, including the most at‑risk people in our community. Discounted access to many gyms for you and your family with Fitness Passport. Access to discounted private health insurance with Medibank. Access to a government salary sacrifice program – make a proportion of your salary tax‑free. Committed to financial support for educational development, scholarship programs, and paid study leave. About the hospital In this role you will be based at St Vincent's private hospital, Darlinghurst. A state‑of‑the‑art hospital in a beautiful inner‑city location. Surrounded by great cafés, galleries and theatres, parks, nightlife, and nearby glorious beaches. Closely partnered with universities and affiliated research institutes, many of which are located on‑campus. Groundbreaking technologies, including world‑first robotic‑assisted surgeries. Equal opportunity We celebrate diversity & inclusion and are committed to equal employment opportunity for everyone. As part of our commitment to reconciliation we encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to apply and join us in delivering care that heals body, mind, spirit and community.
