Join us in making over the world of beauty ABOUT THE ROLE We’re seeking a Commercial Excellence Manager to create, deploy & execute commercial brand strategies for Coty Australia & New Zealand, in all channels within the Fragrance division. Your understanding of the category trends and retail landscape and how to take and / or optimize commercial strategies & decisions will be critical to ensure Coty wins instore and online. This role reports into the Head of Commercial Excellence with influence and exposure to greater region, of ANZ & UKI. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING Create and deploy sales toolkits, playbooks and training aligned with category, brand and channel strategies. Translate brand marketing initiatives into customer marketing actions. Evaluation and optimization of promotional activations Support sales team by contributing to Joint Business Planning with key retailers. Ensure alignment between Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain in annual operating plans, and ensure clear governance and compliance to Trade Investment agreements. Lead financial and scan sales analysis to support ranging channel/category ranging priorities and space allocation recommendations. Develop category insights relationship with key retailers using a variety of data inputs across scan, panel and loyalty data to understand their shopper and how to grow their category. Use financial modelling to turn data into insights that help drive commercial decisions WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE A self-motivated leader with energy, enthusiasm and a dedication to succeed. You will be given responsibility from the start and will be expected to take charge and make things happen by being resourceful. Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop commercial strategies, tactics and measurable implementation plans across many areas. Taking Insight to action. Strong understanding of P&L’s and which commercial levers impact their shape, with a mindset of continuous optimization and improvement. Ability to provide direction as “best in class” implementation, with proven examples of thinking “out of the box” to develop new innovative solutions. Be able to manage through persuasion and influence rather than power. Inspire credibility. Believe in and demonstrate a customer-centric approach, firmly grounded in needs assessment leading to innovative solutions. Recognized as a person that builds strong internal and external relationships and able to strongly influence. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Tertiary qualification in commerce, other business studies, or another relevant discipline highly regarded 5‑10 years experience in National Account Management, Category Management, Commercial Excellence or Marketing Experience in Revenue Management application Background/experience in the Pharmacy, FMCG or Beauty background highly regarded WHY JOIN COTY We offer a collaborative and ambitious environment where your ideas are valued, your growth is supported, and your impact is recognised.
