As the Business Manager at Merrimac State High School, you will provide strategic advice and oversee the development and delivery of corporate services in alignment with department policies. You will lead and inspire a multidisciplinary support staff team, manage resources, and actively participate in decision-making processes to drive process improvements and support school operations. About The Role As the Business Manager, you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic advice and managing the delivery of corporate services to support the school's operations. Reporting directly to the Principal, you will lead a multidisciplinary support staff team, oversee financial management, and ensure the effective use of resources to achieve the school's strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities Providing strategic advice and managing the development of corporate services in line with departmental policies. Leading and managing a diverse team of support staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management. Overseeing financial processes, including budgeting, performance reporting, and compliance with regulations. Managing school facilities, resources, and maintenance projects to ensure a safe and effective learning environment. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to foster a positive team culture and deliver exceptional service outcomes. This role would suit a dynamic and experienced professional with a passion for leadership, innovation, and driving operational excellence in a school environment.
