Assistant Property Accountant - Chartered / CPA Location: Brisbane • Employment Type: Permanent / Full Time Posted: 28/12/2025 $80,000-$88,000 p / a Property Network of Australia is seeking a Assistant Property Accountant to join a leading property investment and management business focused on delivering trusted financial outcomes and growth opportunities for its clients. We are looking for an individual with previous or current experience supporting property accounting functions, including bookkeeping, reporting, and stakeholder management within a property environment. In this role, you will assist with daily bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, tenant invoicing, and the preparation of financial reports for a diverse property portfolio. You will work closely with the Property Accounting Manager and finance team to ensure timely and accurate financial information, while maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Support property accounting and financial reporting for a diverse property portfolio Collaborate with finance and property teams to achieve business goals Develop skills in a dynamic, growth-focused property environment Perform daily bank reconciliations for property accounts Assist with accounts payable, receivable, and supplier contract management Support monthly financial reporting and variance analysis Help prepare annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts Assist with tenant invoicing and receipting inquiries The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Tertiary qualifications in finance or accounting Experience in property accounting or a similar role Proficiency in MS Office and intermediate Excel skills Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills If you think this role is for you and you have the required experience, please do not hesitate to contact Eddie Reed by submitting your CV and a covering letter.
