As an Investment Accountant , you'll work closely with the investment accounting team to manage critical investment operations, financial reporting, and trust accounting. We manage 62 commercial properties across 15 active trusts, including Caneland Central (Mackay's number one shopping centre) and Casuarina Square (NT's number one shopping centre), led by our CEO and Founder, Warren Ebert, also known as the 'Property Whisperer'. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations for investment trusts and property portfolios Prepare monthly financial statements and performance reports for investment properties and trusts Process investment transactions, including distributions, redemptions, and new investments Coordinate property valuations and maintain asset valuation records Calculate and process regular unitholder distributions Perform comprehensive financial analysis on investment performance and property assets Assist with trust establishment documentation and ongoing compliance requirements Ensure accurate and timely NAV calculations for investment trusts Prepare detailed investment reports for management, unitholders, and trustees Reconcile investment accounts and maintain accurate records Support budgeting and forecasting activities for investment properties Assist with external audit preparations for investment trusts Monitor compliance with investment mandate requirements Liaise with property managers, external stakeholders, and service providers Identify and implement process improvements for investment accounting functions Support special projects and financial analysis as required Assist with systems implementation and enhancement for investment reporting Are you someone with?
