Financial Accountant – Investment Manager

Job Overview We are exclusively partnering with a leading Australian-based multi-affiliate investment management firm for their Brisbane office. With over $100bn FUM, they cater to a diverse range of asset classes, including equities, fixed income, and alternative investments, aiming to deliver high-quality investment solutions to both institutional and retail investors. We are seeking a commercially minded and agile Financial Accountant who thrives in a high-performance, collaborative environment and demonstrates an unwavering focus on delivering quality outcomes for the business and its stakeholders. You will be adept at managing and building relationships both internally and externally. Responsibilities Preparation of financial statements Budgeting and forecasting Managing accounts payable / receivable and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships Overseeing cash flow and treasury to support business stability Delivering accurate month-end reconciliations and reporting Ensuring compliance through timely BAS, PAYG, and statutory lodgements Preparing and delivering insightful reporting to management and Boards Reviewing and improving business processes Managing and overseeing the external audit process Supporting ad hoc projects and business initiatives as required Qualifications 1–2 years of experience in a financial or professional services environment University qualification in Finance or Accounting CPA / CA qualified or working towards qualification Outstanding critical thinking and analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication In-depth understanding of business processes Ability to manage and prioritise work effectively Ability to build and develop strong relationships Benefits This is an exciting opportunity to join a flexible, collaborative team where learning and growth are at the heart of the culture.
