The Company A leading Australian investment and property group is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join their high‑performing real estate finance team for a 9‑month fixed‑term contract. This role supports a portfolio of major retail property assets and offers strong exposure to senior internal and external stakeholders. The Role You will support the financial management of several large retail assets within a complex investment structure. Working in a fully integrated property and investment environment, you will assist with statutory reporting, financial performance analysis, operational accounting and oversight of external service providers. This position is ideal for someone who is confident dealing with senior leaders, experienced working across joint venture or multi‑entity structures and familiar with real estate, property or other real‑asset investment environments. Key Responsibilities Prepare and analyse statutory financial statements, management accounts and investment reporting Support month‑end close, financial compliance and year‑end processes Work closely with senior stakeholders across property, finance, operations and external partners Oversee deliverables from outsourced accounting or tax service providers Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis Ensure compliance with Australian Accounting Standards and relevant regulatory requirements About You CA or CPA qualified Minimum 4 years of financial accounting experience Strong technical knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards Experience in property, real assets or multi‑entity environments Confident communicator who can partner with senior stakeholders Background in any of the following will be highly regarded: Property trusts or property funds REITs Commercial property portfolios Real estate joint ventures Unlisted or institutional real asset funds Infrastructure or investment finance teams What's On Offer.
