ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking an experienced and reliable Financial Accountant (Senior Financial Accountant), to provide efficient support to the company’s international operations. For this role you will work within our corporate finance team, based in our head office in Cleveland. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Production of timely and accurate weekly, monthly and end of year financial information Review of monthly Profit & Loss Statements for correctness and adjusting entries as required e.g. accruals etc. Preparation of journals and General Ledger Accounts Reconciliations and investigation of outstanding and closing items Reconcile our main bank account, investigating any discrepancies Reconciling our inter company loan accounts and calculating any interest due Completing any ABS surveys or statutory returns as required Reconciling monthly fuel invoice and monthly credit card payments Monitoring the Finance Inbox and responding to queries as required Other duties as directed ABOUT YOU CA or CPA (completed) Experience in a corporate environment – ideally an international business, working across multiple currencies Experience with a large ERP system ideally Technology One Strong working knowledge and understanding of accounting principles Strong reconciliation skills Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel Excellent communication skills & ability to work as part of a team Exceptional attention to detail | Strong work ethic Excellent time management and organisational skills BENEFITS Work/life balance | Essential services industry – job stability Full-time | Permanent | Onsite parking Office based role - Cleveland (Brisbane) Career development and growth opportunities Introductory and ongoing training Corporate Health and Fitness Program - Fitness Passport Salary sacrificing and novated leasing Banking partnerships – including financial, budgeting and mortgage advice Discounts at over 100 retailers (including groceries and fuel) Car servicing, parts and accessories discounts – plus new car discounts The stability of a national, Australian family owned and operated business with over 90 years’ experience NEXT STEPS Interested applicants should APPLY NOW.
