Role and Responsibilities As a Maintenance Fitter, you’ll play a key role in keeping production lines running smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include: Performing routine maintenance and inspections of machinery and production equipment. Diagnosing, repairing, and troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimise downtime. Conducting preventive maintenance and keeping accurate service records. Responding promptly to breakdowns to restore production. Supporting machinery installations, upgrades, and commissioning. Ensuring all work complies with safety standards and company policies. Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the plant. Qualifications and Skills Trade qualification as a Maintenance Fitter Proven experience in an FMCG or food manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability. Good understanding of preventive maintenance systems. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings. Safety-focused with excellent teamwork and communication skills.
