Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Maintenance Fitter based in the Greater Sydney Area. The Maintenance Fitter will be responsible for performing plant maintenance, including preventive measures, to ensure the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of machinery and equipment. Daily tasks include conducting inspections, troubleshooting, and executing repairs to maintain optimal functionality and reduce downtime. Qualifications Expertise in Plant Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance to ensure system reliability and efficiency Proficiency in Maintenance & Repair tasks for equipment and operational systems Experience with Machinery operations and troubleshooting Fitting skills, including the ability to assemble, install, and align machinery components Strong problem‑solving abilities and a commitment to workplace safety standards Relevant trade qualification (e.g., Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or equivalent) Previous experience in similar roles within the recycling, waste management, or manufacturing industries is an advantage Salary & Benefits $60 per hour + allowances.
