Social Worker Level 3 – Community Palliative Care – Kempsey District Hospital Join the NSW Health team as a Social Worker Level 3 in our Community Palliative Care service at Kempsey District Hospital. Employment Details Employment Type: Permanent Full‑time Classification: Social Worker Level 3 Hours per week: 38 Salary: $58.95 – $60.86 per hour, commensurate with NSW Health State Awards. Location: Kempsey, NSW Responsibilities Provide an effective and efficient social work service addressing psychosocial aspects of care for patients. Conduct psychosocial assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions for complex patient and family presentations. Offer support, education, and resources to patients and families during health events. Collaborate with multidisciplinary health team and contribute to professional development of the social work role. Qualifications Degree in Social Work or equivalent; eligibility for AASW membership. Demonstrated expertise and knowledge of social work in a health context. Excellent ability to plan, conduct assessments, and deliver interventions in complex healthcare settings.
