Mental Health Clinician | Community Mental Health | NNSW Mental Health Clinician | Community Mental Health Location: Lismore | NSWStart Date: ASAP - 12 weeks About the Role We are seeking a passionate and skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our Acute Care Team in Lismore. This role is pivotal in enhancing service capacity and responding to the acute needs of consumers aged 18 years and older experiencing mental health crises. As part of a cooperative multidisciplinary team, you will support assessment, brief intervention, and referral pathways to Adult Mental Health Services or other appropriate external providers. Key Responsibilities Deliver specialist mental health interventions Triage and assertive outreach Comprehensive and risk assessments Clinical formulation and safety planning Engage in collaborative care and discharge planning with internal and external stakeholders. Provide care aligned with Trauma Informed Care and Recovery principles. Uphold the National Practice Standards for Mental Health Workforce and NSW Health Mental Health Competencies. What We Are Looking For Qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Mental Health Nursing. Experience in acute mental health settings.
