This role is critical to ensuring efficient workflows, accurate inventory management, and seamless collaboration across departments. You’ll take ownership of daily operations, uphold high standards, and inspire your team to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage the warehouse roster, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts. Motivate, train, and supervise warehouse staff to maintain productivity and foster a positive & fun work environment. Monitor and achieve warehouse KPIs, addressing inefficiencies proactively. Stock & Inventory Management: Oversee storage arrangements, ensuring space optimisation and easy access to inventory. Perform regular stock counts and manage stock reconciliation to minimize discrepancies. Ensure effective stock rotations to reduce waste and maintain product quality. Use Warehouse Inventory Management Software to maintain accurate stock records and streamline processes. Oversee quality control checks on all incoming and outgoing stock. Shipping & Receiving: Manage the receipt and inspection of incoming stock, ensuring accuracy and quality. Collaborate with external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Liaise with other departments, such as sales, customer service, and procurement, to ensure smooth workflows. Communicate stock-related updates and challenges effectively. Key Skills & Experience: Proven experience in warehouse management or a related field. Strong understanding of inventory management principles and processes. Proficiency in warehouse management software and other relevant systems. Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative and productive environment. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of health and safety protocols for warehouse environments. Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively across departments.
