About the Role The TPRM Controls Assessment function is responsible for the TPRM lifecycle delivery, including centralized facilitation of pre-contract and post-contract controls assessment activities. Supporting the business facing TPRM Controls Assessment Team – Resiliency who are tasked with performing Materiality Assessments for third parties to comply with CPS 230 APRA requirements. Taking the lead on delivering internal & external due diligence for various control assessments (business continuity, data security etc) review the output and share findings with key stakeholders. Providing first line Third party Risk related support and SME advice to the business and third parties to ensure effective risk management and compliance over third party engagements. Delivering consistent, high quality user experience across TPRM control assessment in line with the standard TPRM Control assessment approach. Maintaining effective relationships with business stakeholders and third parties by ensuring business accountabilities for TPRM are understood as well as a customer service focus where you will seek to add-value and support the business with their requirements. Provide day-to-day guidance and act as performance coach for more junior members of the control assessment team. What will you bring? To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: 7+ years of risk management experience within the financial service industry across different risk management disciplines (e.g. regulatory, Information Security, Data Privacy) preferably in Third Party Risk Management. Strong stakeholder management skills, with a track record of building effective relationships. Demonstrated track record of delivering effectively to operational deadlines and commitment to continuous improvement and learning in the workplace Experience in coaching and mentoring junior team members ‘Good to have’ knowledge, skills, and experiences. Understanding regulatory requirements as they related to TPRM Experience interpreting and understanding regulatory requirements across multiple regimes Experience in a multi-jurisdictional environment Demonstrated customer lens and affinity You’re not expected to have 100% of these skills.
