Operations Shift Manager, Amazon Logistics Here at Amazon we’re looking for experienced Operations Shift Managers to lead and develop a team of associates within our Delivery Station in Eastern Creek. Shift details: NIGHT SHIFT – 11:00 pm to 9:00 am, Sunday to Wednesday. Key Job Responsibilities Leading and developing a team of Amazon associates Lead by example and with empathy Maintain Health and Safety standards while promoting a culture on‑site Collaborate with support teams (Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR) to meet business objectives Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and Lean tools Push, pull, squat, bend, and reach varying weights as required by the role A Day in the Life You will inspire and guide associates to continuously improve delivery processes, ensuring that customer orders are delivered quickly, accurately, and cost‑effectively. You’ll work with peers to keep workflows smooth and exceed customer expectations. Basic Qualifications 1+ years of employee and performance management experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays Can push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds during shifts Authorized to work in Australia without sponsorship Confirmed ability to work our night shift, 11:00 pm to 9:00 am Preferred Qualifications 1+ year of experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques Acknowledgement Of Country In the spirit of reconciliation, Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
