Fantastic Opportunity Our client who is a leading food manufacture & supplier of fresh poultry & prepared food solutions is seeking to appoint a Maintenance Fitter to join our client based in Bannockburn Geelong. Casual start with a view to permanency for the right candidate Pay rate $50 to $55 (pending experience) As a Maintenance Fitter you will provide support to the Maintenance Manager and Production team by providing quality and efficient maintenance services during planned maintenance breakdowns and the installation of new plant and equipment. Benefits Casual Rates - Full-time Hours Possibilty of Permanency Great Company Culture Qualifications & Experience Required Relevant Mechanical trade qualifications Forklift license EWP license (desirable) Fabrication Skills MIG TIG and ARC welding (desirable) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent oral written and interpersonal skills Strong commitment to identify and drive continues improvement A demonstrated commitment to health and safety Ability to drive positive change as well as influence and support Proven fault-finding skills and the ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment Understanding of HACCP GMP and Australian Standards Ability to execute and adhere to Preventative Maintenance programs Ability to utilise a computer-based Maintenance management system Full Australian work rights Key Responsibilities Day-to-day operations of the plant Conduct general maintenance & repairs adhering to the prevenative maintenance program Attend to breakdown situations in a timely & efficient manner adhering to OHS & QA systems Installation & fabrication of machinery & equipment Control costs scheduling & development of maintenance activities (desirable) If the Role looks like you then go ahead click APPLY Today Whilst we appreciate the effort put in to your application due to the high volume of applicants only successful candidates will be contacted.
