Level/Classification APS6 – EL1 Contract Type Permanent non-ongoing of 12 Months + Extension or Section 26 Transfer Location Canberra, ACT Rate Bracket APS6 $98,314.00 – 110,484.00 + Super (based on experience) Rate Bracket EL1 $126,242.00 –143,995.00 + Super (based on experience) Requirements Must have a minimum Baseline clearance Ability and willingness to undergo police check clearance Selection criteria response APS6 Financial Operations Officer – Data & Database Administration Positions Available: Multiple Responsibilities (Data & Database Administration focus) Maintain, update, and ensure integrity of financial and payroll databases. Support transition of financial operations to an in-house model through effective database management. Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and service frameworks for database operations. Provide expert advice on data management, reporting, and systems processes to support operational objectives. Manage accounts, vendor/customer data, payroll records, and related financial information within databases. Support audit readiness and ensure compliance with data-related legislation and policies. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve data accuracy and reporting. Assist with strategic briefs, policy development, and communication relating to data systems. Foster a culturally safe and inclusive team environment while promoting best practice in data management. Experience & Qualifications Tertiary qualification in Finance, Information Systems, Data Management, or related field, or equivalent experience. Demonstrated experience in database administration, financial data management, or systems operations. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-focused decision-making skills. Proven ability to manage complex internal and external data relationships. Delegate’s approval (required).
