This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team of talented solicitors and support staff and further develop your skills and career within a fun and supportive work environment.You will be part of a dynamic team with direct access to 2 Principals and have the opportunity to develop your skills across all front and back-end employment law matters.Key ResponsibilitiesThe core responsibilities of this role include:Representing employers in employment-related disputes such as unfair dismissal, discrimination and general protections claims including at conciliation conferences;Drafting and negotiating legal agreements such as employment contracts, independent contractor agreements and deeds of settlement as well as drafting and reviewing workplace policies;Responding to regulatory investigations;Assisting with workplace investigations;Providing employment law support for commercial transactions;Working with education clients providing advice on child safety and mandatory reporting obligations.Assisting with and attending marketing and business development activities;Managing client relationships and providing high-quality service to clients;Mentoring and supervising law clerks and support staff, as well as assisting with team management and;Working collaboratively with other teams in the firm.RequirementsOur ideal candidate will have:1-2 years’ + post admission experience with experience across a broad range of employment law matters.Previous experience in advising clients in the education sector is desirable but not essential.A commercial mindset with a focus on delivering practical and commercially sound advice to clients.Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and work collaboratively with other solicitors and support staff.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.Your new teamOur team is made up of highly skilled and dedicated legal professionals who are committed to delivering exceptional results for our clients.
