About the role Thiess Mount Pleasant Operation has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated OT/FMS Technology Technician to join our team, reporting to the Electrical Maintenance Supervisor. This is a residential position to be home every night, working on a lifestyle 4 x 12 hour dayshift only roster. Responsibilities Assist with installations on new machines Attend to OT system breakdowns / outages Carry out inspections and repairs during machine overhauls Perform system upgrades as required Monitor and maintain site digital radio network Monitor and maintain Solar and Battery storage management systems Monitor and maintain site wireless network Monitor and maintain site GPS systems for mobile plant Assist IT system owners as required Monitor and maintain site camera systems Work with Planning team to ensure site resources are efficient and effective Build close working relationships with equipment OEMs, Ivolve, CAT, Liebherr etc About you Ideally you will have a trade qualification in Electrical, with experience in the above areas, and an Open cabling licence. Or in one of the following trades with a strong background in FMS and networking systems and hold an Open cabling licence: Auto electrician. Electronics and Communications and hold an Open cabling licence.
