Senior Paralegal – Office of the Registrar General (ORG) Location: Sydney (McKell) – office attendance required 2–3 days per week. Salary: A$99,938 – A$110,271 per annum (base + superannuation and leave loading). Duration: Ongoing, Full‑time. About the role We are looking for a Senior Paralegal to join the Litigation and Policy team at the ORG, which is responsible for ensuring the integrity of the NSW land title system, conducting litigation, preparing policy and legislative advice, and overseeing electronic conveyancing services. Key responsibilities Act as a professional point of contact with staff and key stakeholders, responding to inquiries and providing information. Assist with the preparation of draft legal advisories, ministerial correspondence, briefing notes, court documents and briefs to Counsel. Undertake legal research. File documents in Court. Maintain accurate records in legal information systems in accordance with records management policies and confidentiality/privacy requirements. Assist with preparation of presentations, consultation papers and other stakeholder engagement materials using PowerPoint and Office 365 tools. Provide general administrative and business support, including setting up meetings and taking minutes. Qualifications & skills Completed tertiary legal studies or experienced as a paralegal or lawyer, ideally in litigation or property practice. Demonstrated ability to take initiative, pay close attention to detail and work effectively as part of a team. Strong communication, organisational and time‑management skills. Willingness to develop skills in new legal areas and to work with some ambiguity.
