About This Role Utilise your Project Delivery expertise to provide support and advice to Courts and Justice System Reform An ongoing, full‑time opportunity to work with a high‑performing and passionate team in the Victorian Public Service VPS Grade 4: $97,955 – $111,142 plus superannuation. About The Business Unit System Governance (SG) is a unit within the Courts, Civil and Criminal Law group of the Department of Justice and Community Safety (DJCS). There Are Two Teams In System Governance Governance and Appointments – which manages the high priority appointments of judicial officers and boards within the Attorney‑General's portfolio. This team also oversees strategic reviews and provides secretariat support to both the Appeal Costs Board and the Judicial Entitlements Panel. Honorary Justice Services Support (HJSS) – oversees Victoria's volunteer Honourary Justice program by providing operational, administrative and policy support to justices of the peace and bail justices (collectively known as honorary justices). About The Role As a member of the HJSS team, the Project Officer plays a key role in supporting the effective administration of Victoria's volunteer Honourary Justice Program. Some Of Your Duties Will Include Assisting with operational tasks including the implementation of strategic improvements and processes to enhance operations Producing high quality and detailed documents including reports, briefings, policies and procedures, correspondence and documentation to support successful outcomes of projects and activities Providing project and business support activities under limited direction To learn more about this role before applying, please read the attached position description.
