Space Floorcoverings are looking for an experienced commercial flooring Project manager with 3+ years' experience working in the commercial floorcoverings sector, who is positive, passionate and hardworking to join our team of commercial flooring specialist. Our office is located at Bowen Hills. About us Space Floorcoverings has a reputation for delivering expertise in: Supply and installation of Broadloom Carpet, Carpet tiles, Sheet Vinyl, Vinyl plank, Timber, Hybrid Flooring, Ceramic Tiles, Polished Concrete, Epoxy etc Floor preparation Diamond Grinding Demolition Site inspection Product Selection At Space Floorcoverings we work closely with end users and builders to fulfill a customised and practical solutions to all projects including but not limited to: Construction Fit out Corporate Childcare & Education Government agency Health Care Retail Apply here on SEEK or forward your resume to: Qualifications & experience 3+ Years Experience in commercial flooring Project Management is essential. Applicant is required to be based in South East Queensland. Knowledge/experience with Measuresquare/estimating software ideal (training provided). Knowledge/experience with Word, Excel & Projects required. Experience in building strong relationships with clients/builders. Existing client base is essential. Extensive labour contacts within the commercial flooring industry. Excellent time management and organisation skills and strong attention to detail. Excellent written, mathematical and verbal communication skills. Ability to take direction, be proactive, use your initiative and listen to the advice of your peers. Ability to show initiative, work independently and as part of our team. A positive attitude, willingness to learn and enthusiasm to excel in your workplace. Confident and looking to exceed in all facets of your work. Ability to work flexible hours, when needed. Work rights in Australia Essential . White Card Essential . Tasks & responsibilities Forging strong relationships with builders, flooring representatives and sub-contractors. Price jobs based on scope of works, construction plans and tender documentation. Ensuring tenders meet company target margins and agreed timescales. Managing and tracking project tenders and follow-ups. Processing variation pricing and submissions.
