Reporting directly to the Assistant Director of Food and Beverage, the Assistant Manager will oversee the operation of restaurant service and ensure all elements are executed smoothly and seamlessly. This will be achieved with day-to-day supervision of associates and supporting their training and development, as well as striving to exceed guest expectations and delivering exceptional experiences. You will actively contribute to the process of driving the business and achieving key departmental KPI targets. Responsibilities Day-to-day leadership, supervision and management of associates Coordination of all aspects of the department's operation to ensure a seamless flow from beginning to end Manage the initial and ongoing training and development of all team members Ensure all Hotel and HACCP policies & procedures are followed Implement measures to maximise profitability and minimise costs Regulated stock-take check, inventory control and oversight of equipment maintenance and cleanliness of the outlet Liaise and foster collaborative working relationships with key departments across the Hotel Handle client queries and complaints with professionalism, concern and understanding Qualifications Management experience in a large hotel / venue – In Room Dining background highly advantageous Passionate and focused on delivering excellent service Hands‑on leadership style, with ability to support and motivate team Strong understanding of food and beverage service standards and hospitality best practices Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced and high‑pressure environment Highly organised, with capacity to multitask and prioritise tasks on the fly Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem‑solving skills A valid NSW RSA Unrestricted, valid Australian working rights, with the availability to work a rotating roster including weekends Opportunity is calling.
