The programs include Cert IV & Diploma of Community Services, Cert IV Mental Health, Cert IV Child, Youth and Family Intervention and Residential Care Skill Set. This is a great opportunity to contribute to strategic projects, drive operational improvements, and support collaborative team success in a purpose‑driven environment. Key Responsibilities Coordinate program operations including timetabling, staff support, and student progress Mentor and support teaching staff, including Teachers Under Supervision Ensure compliance with regulatory and audit requirements Engage with stakeholders to promote and enhance programs Maintain educational and vocational currency Drive continuous improvement in teaching practices Skills and Experience Required Relevant qualifications in adult or vocational education (TAE40122/TAE40116/TAE40110 and AQF6+ or equivalent) Minimum 2 years’ industry experience in community services, mental health and/or youth residential out of home care industry Extensive teaching experience with strong learner‑centred practice Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and ICT skills Proven ability to lead, mentor, and innovate in educational settings Knowledge of VET compliance, curriculum development, and quality assurance Additional Requirements A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) A National Police Check How To Apply Click Apply to submit your application through Melbourne Polytechnic’s careers portal.
