About the role An opportunity exists for an experienced receptionist to join the Cardiology Department at Box Hill Hospital. Our dynamic clerical team rotate through various roles, providing administrative support to our main reception and Cardiology outpatient clinics in Building B, and the cardiac catheterisation laboratory in Building A. This position is a permanent part-time appointment. A successful applicant will be required to work 2 weekdays. About you excellent interpersonal and communication skills, outstanding customer service skills, the ability to work both independently and effectively as part of a team, experience with computer databases and Microsoft Office, excellent organisational and time management skills, accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of your work, knowledge of medical terminology (preferably), and the ability to take direction and comply with Eastern Health and Departmental policies/procedures. Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
