About Us Jewel is the most luxurious residential building on the Gold Coast, and as such, the level of service provided to residents must always be of the highest standard. About the Role We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Painter to join our team. This role involves carrying out maintenance and refurbishment tasks across our properties, with a strong focus on ensuring walls, ceilings, and surfaces are professionally prepared and finished. You will join a small but dynamic team dedicated to responding promptly to maintenance requests and ensuring the highest level of care and attention expected within a luxury property. This role includes weekend and public holiday shifts. Key Responsibilities Perform high-quality painting, plastering, patching, and surface finishing. Prepare surfaces including sanding, priming, and minor plaster repairs. Mix and apply paints, coatings, and plasters according to specifications. Repair walls, ceilings, and various internal/external surfaces. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a tidy and safe condition. Assist with general building maintenance tasks when required. Ensure all work meets safety, compliance, and quality standards. Provide excellent service and uphold the luxury standard of the property. Requirements Demonstrated experience in painting, with plastering experience preferred. Strong knowledge of paint products, application techniques, and surface preparation. Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks efficiently. High attention to detail and commitment to premium workmanship. Physically fit to undertake manual and hands‑on duties.
