At NPS we provide high-quality services for industry, government, and water authorities with significant growth in emerging areas of digital metering and IoT device management. This is a newly created role due to significant growth of the Company and reports in the Chief Financial Officer. The Level 3 IT Engineer provides advanced technical support and acts as the primary escalation point for IT issues. This role is responsible for managing relationships and projects, internally and with external IT service providers, ensuring compliance with organisational cyber security standards, and driving continuous improvement and efficiency outcomes in technology. Key Responsibilities Serve as the main technical escalation point for IT support queries Manage and oversee all IT projects and initiatives delivered by the IT service provider Provide oversight and quality assurance for the IT service provider helpdesk, monitoring service levels and user satisfaction Coordinate with IT Service Provider to ensure timely resolution of incidents and requests Lead and support the implementation of Essential 8 cyber security controls Develop and maintain documentation for systems, processes, and troubleshooting guides Support new office setup and own office technology in all locations, including meeting room setup Oversee all aspects of technology onboarding and off boarding, including device procurement and setup and user license administration Administer and maintain the Azure/Databricks data lake and related outputs/AI agents Assist in developing and ensuring compliance with organisational IT policies and security standards Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution Liaise with vendors and third-party support for advanced troubleshooting and procurement Ideal Candidate Profile Advanced technical troubleshooting and problem solving Strong understanding of Essential 8 cyber security controls Strong understanding of AI concepts, tools and strategies Advanced SQL skills Effective vendor management and communication skills Ability to oversee outsourced IT services and ensure quality deliveryProactive and solutions-focused, with a hands‑on approach Strong attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Benefits & Perks Competitive salary commensurate with experience Opportunity to join a team of like-minded people Ability to manage your own workload and join a great team Great team culture New Plumbing Solutions are passionate about providing equal employment opportunities and embracing diversity to the benefit of all.
