IT Support Technician (Level 1 – Managed Service Provider) IT Support Technician (Level 1 – Managed Service Provider) Location: Frenchs Forest, Northern Beaches, SydneyType: Full-time, on-site only (no remote / hybrid)Experience: 1–3 years in an MSP / IT services environment Stanfield IT is a professional, growing Managed Service Provider based on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. We support a range of demanding clients and hold a high bar for quality, security, and documentation. We’re looking for a hands-on Level 1 Technician who already knows what MSP life is like and wants to keep growing – not a fresh graduate or career‑changer. What you’ll be doing Front-line support across tickets, phone and email. Troubleshooting Windows, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and common business apps. User onboarding/offboarding, account and access management. Basic networking support (Wi‑Fi, switches, firewalls – Level 1 triage). Escalating issues properly with clear notes and documentation. Working closely with senior engineers on client work and small projects. What we need from you (non-negotiable) Minimum 1 year full-time experience in an MSP / IT services provider . Qualifications in IT (degree or relevant certifications – CompTIA, Microsoft, etc.). Solid experience with: Microsoft 365 admin and support Google Workspace Windows desktop support Helpdesk / remote support tools Excellent English – written and verbal – and confident talking to business users. Professional, reliable and well-presented – you’ll be client‑facing. Able to follow systems, processes and documentation. Happy to work on-site in Frenchs Forest Monday–Friday . Willing to participate in an on‑call roster for occasional after‑hours calls. Nice to have Previous experience with security‑focused environments (MFA, conditional access, etc.). Exposure to Intune, Azure AD, basic scripting or automation. What you’ll get Work with a serious, well‑run MSP – not a chaos helpdesk.
