The Position We are seeking a proactive and service-oriented IT Support Technician to join our Sydney office supporting the firm across all offices. Reporting to the Head of IT you’ll play a key role in providing technical support across the firm and ensuring our systems run smoothly and securely. In this hands‑on role you’ll be the first point of contact for IT queries and troubleshooting supporting users across hardware, software and network issues. You’ll also assist with system maintenance, upgrades and projects to improve efficiency and user experience. Your key responsibilities will include: Provide first and second-level technical support to staff across multiple offices (in person, phone and remote) Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues promptly and professionally Assist with onboarding / off‑boarding including device setup and access management Maintain accurate IT communications including user guides and updates Support implementation of new systems upgrades and security initiatives Collaborate with the Head of IT and broader IT team on continuous improvement across the function Skills and Experience You’re a confident communicator who enjoys solving problems and helping people. You thrive in a fast‑paced professional environment and take pride in delivering reliable, efficient IT support. You will bring 2 years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role with strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Office 365, AWS and Active Directory. Additionally you have had exposure to device imaging, endpoint management and basic networking. Your troubleshooting and customer service skills are top‑notch and your proactive approach and willingness to learn are highly regarded. Experience in a professional services or law firm environment will be highly regarded but not essential.
