Employment Type: Permanent Full Time Position Classification: Orthotist / Prosthetist Lvl 4 Remuneration: 126,524 – 129,591 full time equivalent base salary range (excludes super, leave loading and salary packaging) Hours Per Week: 38 Requisition ID: REQ Location: Westmead Applications Close: Midnight on 04 December 2025 What you’ll be doing Provide extensive specialist orthotic care to patients of the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network. Primary function Responsible for the clinical, technical and administrative aspects of orthotic care to patients referred to the Orthotics Department. Participate in the Orthotics team to achieve the mission, philosophy and objectives of the department and the Network. At Level 4, operate autonomously, provide clinical supervision and support to junior clinicians, technical staff and students, plan, implement, evaluate and report on services, identify opportunities for improvement, and lead quality improvement activities. About You Bachelor degree in prosthetics and/or orthotics providing eligibility for membership of the Australian Orthotic and Prosthetic Association, or other equivalent qualification. Extensive post‑graduate orthotic experience with advanced skills in all aspects of orthotic assessment and treatment, evidence‑based intervention and orthotic prescription. Recognised source of expert knowledge in orthotic provision, functioning as a clinical consultant with demonstrated advanced clinical reasoning skills.
