The Opportunity Undertake analysis and design across all project phases, applying innovation and smart workflows. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including modelling and drafting specialists, to produce high-quality deliverables. Build and maintain professional relationships with clients and peers to support project objectives and identify new opportunities. Prepare and review technical documentation including reports, drawings, and specifications. Mentor and support junior engineers while ensuring quality and compliance with Arup’s standards and systems. Strong understanding of Australian Standards for bridge and civil structure design (e.g. AS5100) and familiarity with authority requirements such as TfNSW and Sydney Trains. Proficiency in industry software such as Strand7, Midas, SpaceGass, SAP2000, or GSA, and the ability to work with 3D models. Excellent communication and report-writing skills with the ability to engage confidently with technical and non-technical audiences. A collaborative, proactive mindset with strong time-management and a commitment to quality and safety. A relevant tertiary qualification, professional membership (or working towards it), and a passion for developing innovative engineering solutions.
