Position Summary Title: Medical Workforce Officer Position No: Pool Ref Salary: $90,666 – $96,409 (HSO Level G4) Work Type: Fixed Term – Full Time, Permanent – Full Time Location: Nedlands, Sir Charles Gairdner Osborne Park Health Care Group Role Overview This position provides comprehensive and confidential administrative support to the Medical Workforce Department. Key duties include rostering and leave management for junior medical practitioners, visa processing, and Medical Board registration for junior and senior practitioners in accordance with industrial agreements. The role also supports recruitment, visa and registration processes, manages the leave relief roster, and maintains registers and databases for auditing purposes. Key Responsibilities Manage rostering and leave for junior medical practitioners. Process visa applications and Medical Board registration for junior and senior medical practitioners. Provide support in recruitment, visas, registrations, and leave relief roster management. Maintain registers and databases for auditing purposes. Qualifications & Experience Strong administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare or government setting. Knowledge of rostering software and administrative systems. Understanding of visa and Medical Board registration processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. About Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital & Osborne Park Hospital Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital is one of Australia's leading teaching tertiary hospitals, located at the Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre, 4 km from Perth city centre, offering comprehensive clinical services including trauma, emergency and critical care, orthopaedics, general medicine, general surgery, cardiac care, and the state's largest cancer treatment and principal neurosurgery and liver transplant centre. Osborne Park Hospital provides specialist health services to the north metropolitan area, located 14 km from Perth CBD.
