HFS currently has one financial adviser supported by 4 administrative paraplanners and 3 technical paraplanners. Our Services As an unrivaled "full-service" boutique advisory to the SME market, HFS provides comprehensive financial, commercial and credit advice to business owners, family groups and executives. Our clients are typically first‑generation business owners with net income of $500k to $5m p.a. combined with a strong balance sheet and debt of $1m to $50m. Our services include: Private CFO Commercial / Business Consulting Structuring Project Management Advanced Financial Management & Modelling Advanced Risk Management & Benchmarking Banking and Finance Financial Advice, Property Advice and Investment Analysis We are a true fee‑for‑service business that charges our clients fixed fees in providing and implementing our advice. We stand next to our clients and actively manage the inherent conflicts of interest that exist in the financial services & banking industries by accounting for all commissions and fees to our clients' files to offset the cost of any of our advice and services. The accounting of commissions to client files is unrivaled when compared to the business models of the alternative financial and finance offerings. Duties & Responsibilities Lead our Banking & Finance division Collaborate with financial adviser / broker, technical and administrative paraplanners. Research and develop residential and commercial loan strategies. Liaise with clients throughout the loan process. Prepare loan proposal documents via MyCRM. Prepare loan applications via ApplyOnline. Track applications and settlements. Monitor compliance and conduct annual reviews. Liaise with banks during the application and settlement process. Assist with staff training and development. Education & Qualifications To be considered for this role, you will preferably have completed the following: Bachelor's Degree in Finance Certificate IV in Finance & Mortgage Broking Experience & Attributes Minimum two years previous experience as a mortgage broker or home loan specialist and / or business banking role Strong knowledge of all industry administrative processes Strong industry loan product and credit policy knowledge Excellent time‑management skills and ability to multi‑task Proactive approach to identifying and solving issues Ability to effectively manage workflow tasks Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Ability to work unsupervised Strong written & verbal communication skills with proven ability in relationship building Proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) Experience using industry workflow management systems Experience using mortgage broking software Where to from here?
