About the Role We are seeking a reliable and hands‑on Maintenance & Store hand handyman to join our team. This role is responsible for the general upkeep of our facilities, marine vessels, and storerooms. The ideal candidate will be a self‑starter, proactive, detail‑oriented, and comfortable with both indoor and outdoor tasks, including basic maintenance, cleaning, and warehouse duties. Key Responsibilities Daily Tasks Report to company director each morning for task allocation. Open sheds and prepare the work area. Maintain cleanliness at the front entrances of D3, including clearing rubbish/leaves and cleaning glass doors. Check and clean vessels for debris and dirt each morning. Ensure vessels are locked, tidy, with ropes secured and keys returned at the end of each day. Turn on/off cockpit lights (where applicable) and unlock/lock dock boxes. Ensure golf buggies are parked and charging. Prepare Sovereign BBQ orders for shipment and arrange items in pallet racks. Collect/send mail. Keep warehouse, workshop, and entrance office clean and tidy. Weekly Tasks Empty kitchen bins and shredders (D3 on Wednesday mornings/afternoons). Empty small bins into the large RED bin and place it out Wednesday afternoon; bring back in Thursday morning. Empty recycling bins and entrance office rubbish (D3) every Friday or last working day of the week. Check fluid levels and tyre pressure on company vehicles. Clean and sweep sheds. Monthly Tasks Check and assemble stock of Sovereign control valves, electric controls, etc. Wash company vehicles. Ad hoc Tasks Assist with tender driving, boat washing, defect repairs, and general ad hoc maintenance as required. Light manufacturing and machinery work. What We are Looking For Must have forklift license. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Physically fit and capable of manual tasks. Good communication skills and basic computer literacy. Prior experience in maintenance or warehouse work is advantageous. Ability to operate small vessels (tender driving experience a plus). Must have Australian work authorisation rights. Operate forklifts and light machinery (must hold forklift license). Support with vehicle and equipment checks, and vessel presentation.
