Glitch Productions is an independent animation studio based in Australia making original, long form animated shows distributed on Youtube. Our channel has over 17 million subscribers, tens of millions of views per episode and is still growing strong. Our studio is filled with incredibly talented and passionate artists that are determined to change the way animation is produced and treated in the industry. Our biggest IP; Digital Circus, has amassed over 350 million views on the pilot alone and we have a lot more still to come. Role Information: Glitch Productions is seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our growing Franchise & marketing team. The role will see you focusing on the production management and delivery of creative materials including a variety of 2D & 3D image renders, trailers/teasers, animations, live action photos and video content, managing a team of artists and ensuring their tasks are done on time. This content will be shown on a variety of mediums including the Glitch Productions YouTube channel, our array of social media accounts, web/digital platforms and more. The Production Manager plays a key role in maintaining the creative integrity of our projects while optimising workflows and resources. You'll collaborate closely with the Chief Brand Officer, marketing manager, artists, and technical teams to align on goals, resolve bottlenecks, and foster a collaborative, productive culture. Your duties will include: Production Planning & Scheduling Lead, plan and manage schedules across multiple marketing content streams, including 2D/3D renders, animation, trailers/teasers and photo/video production ensuring timelines align with campaign goals and studio priorities. Allocate resources effectively to stay within scope, delivery timelines and budget. Provide project progress reports, identifying risks, bottlenecks, and solutions to keep production on track. Leading coordinators on your team to assist with various tasks such as artist communication, progress tracking etc. Pipeline & Quality Control Supervise and collaborate with production coordinators and creative leads to define deliverables, set milestones, and manage asset delivery across various media formats. Identify and resolve potential production bottlenecks promptly, and track progress against timelines. Monitor quality, ensuring adherence to specifications, standards, and branding guidelines. Coordinate team needs and resources with external departments, such as Brand and Merchandise, to align production goals across the business. Collaborate with key stakeholders to schedule reviews and implement feedback in a timely and efficient manner. Support continuous improvement of creative workflows by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve output quality. Provide strong people management and communication, offering direction, support, and resources for your team to perform at their best. Lead department meetings and weekly check-ins, facilitating communication across departments to resolve issues and streamline processes. Oversee training and development plans to foster a collaborative and creative environment. A successful candidate will have: 3+ years of experience in production management within the 2D/3D animation or live-action industry. Familiarity with production management tools (e.g., ShotGrid, Asana, SyncSketch, Google Suite). Demonstrated experience leading teams through change, helping teammates resolve obstacles, clear bottlenecks, and successfully deliver tasks. Ability to make informed decisions, manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Keen eye for detail, assuring delivery meets both artistic and technical standards. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong stakeholder management and time management skills. Be extremely organized and have a strong work ethic. Engaging personality and willingness to learn. Positive, go-getter attitude with a passion for making things. An understanding or experience with the arts, animation, gaming, and/or ‘internet nerd’ culture. What we offer: A competitive starting salary with reviews every 6 months.
