Arts and Cultural Programs Officer – MidCoast Council MidCoast Council is seeking an enthusiastic Arts and Cultural Programs Officer to join our team from January 2026, working across the Manning Entertainment Centre and Manning Regional Art Gallery. This part‑time role (28 hours per week) is Tuesday through Friday with additional evening and weekend hours to support program delivery. Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver arts and cultural programs and events that attract diverse audiences and encourage participation. Foster meaningful connections between the community and local creative industries, artists, and cultural organisations. Collaborate with schools, aged care facilities, and disability services to ensure inclusive and accessible programming. Contribute to funding and grant applications and manage sponsorships and subsidies to support local participation in the arts. Target communication and promotional strategies to grow engagement across our cultural venues. Qualifications and Experience Experience in arts and cultural program development, event management, or community engagement. Highly organised with ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail. Strong relationship‑building skills with artists, local creative industries, and community groups. Passion for creating inclusive, accessible, and engaging cultural experiences for all members of the community. Remuneration Commencing salary $59,801 p.a. (pro‑rated based on part‑time hours) plus superannuation. Salary is negotiable based on skills and experience. Location This position will be based at the Manning Regional Art Gallery and Manning Entertainment Centre, with possible work from other Council sites across the MidCoast Council region.
