Child protection work is challenging, rewarding and fulfilling. Working with families, other agencies and community organisations you foster respectful relationships to help families build safety and support for their members. Responsibilities Respond to concerns regarding child safety and wellbeing. Take legal action when necessary. Maintain positive links and strong working relationships with government and non‑government agencies. For Senior Child Safety roles: undertake complex case work; make recommendations on care and management; develop high‑level knowledge and skills in supporting families and communities; provide expert advice to district staff on child safety and protection issues. Qualifications and Experience Preferred: A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or a relevant human services area.
