Reporting into the Service Desk Team Leader, this role will provide IT support to our Support Office and our retail store teams. This is an amazing opportunity for someone looking to take their first step into an entry level IT role. This is a permanent full-time position, working a rotating roster over 7 days, which include morning, afternoon and night shifts based at our Support Office located on St Kilda Rd. Responsibilities Receiving and responding to IT queries including troubleshooting scanner, POS system technical issues and a multitude of Support Office inquiries. Ensure every phone query is dealt with professionally and accurately recorded in our system. Escalate issues (when they cannot be immediately resolved) to the Service Desk Manager and/or other support teams. Keep customers updated on the status of issues and contribute to educating business users. Work with the Senior Service Desk Specialists and wider IT team to problem solve and follow up on queries. Skills & Experience Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage high volume tasks. Strong communication skills with the ability to establish relationships with stakeholders across all areas of the business. Strong sense of integrity to ensure the information we provide is timely and accurate. Passion for IT coupled with an appetite to learn and grow. Tertiary studies in IT is advantageous but not essential. Generous staff discount and access to our sample sales.
