Overview We are searching for an Assistant Business Manager (Assistant Store Manager) to join the team at our Smith St surplus store. This role is full time on a Sunday-Thursday roster. At Assembly Label, we're building a team of collaborative entrepreneurs, collectively working for a company with a shared vision and open culture. Our success comes directly from the people we work with and as we continue to grow, we're always on the lookout for others who share our love for minimalist design and the Australian coastal lifestyle. Why we will love you To be successful in this role, you will have the ability to meet sales targets and have proven experience leading and motivating a team. You will be able to deliver highly engaging customer service, with strong communication and time management skills. We are searching for someone with strong reporting skills, who is enthusiastic and welcoming to feedback. You will also possess a clear understanding of the Assembly Label values and product range. You will be leading a team of retail stylists so will have the ability to provide staff training and development, focusing on individual opportunities leading to a positive and engaged store culture. Through your proven experience, you will show us a keen understanding of both local and international fashion markets. You will need to be available to work public holidays, weekends and key retail seasons. What\u2019s in it for you? Responsibilities Driving sales to deliver weekly/monthly/annual sales and margin targets Constantly delivering a high level of customer service to ensure brand loyalty and repeat business Upholding Assembly Label\'s retail operational standards and procedures while leading your team by an exemplary personal standard Working alongside the National Retail Manager, State Manager and Retail Business Manager to ensure the store\'s data integrity and loss prevention strategies are executed in line with business targets Provide consistent training and development for all staff while creating a positive and engaging store culture Nurture internal relationships with other departments and stakeholders of the business Maintaining the highest level of personal and store presentation standards Seasonally engage with the Operations and Design teams ensuring a well-defined understanding of the product range in store Applying We encourage applications from people of all backgrounds and underrepresented groups who reflect our wonderfully diverse community.
