Sales Lead, Oracle Workloads on GCP, Google Cloud Join Google as Sales Lead, Oracle Workloads on GCP. The role helps customers migrate Oracle workloads to Google Cloud, driving growth in our platform. Preferred locations: Sydney NSW, Australia; Melbourne VIC, Australia. About The Job: The Google Cloud Platform team helps customers transform and build what's next for their business. Our products are developed for security, reliability and scalability, running the full stack from infrastructure to applications to devices and hardware. As part of an entrepreneurial team, you will play a key role in understanding customers’ needs and shaping the future of businesses of all sizes to connect with customers, employees and partners. Google Cloud and Oracle have a partnership that allows customers to run Oracle services in Google Cloud and integrate with Google Cloud services. In this role, you will help grow the Oracle on GCP business by building and expanding relationships with new and existing customers to deploy their Oracle workloads on Google Cloud. You will lead day‑to‑day relationships with cross‑functional team members to engage with customers and serve as a sales lead for Oracle on GCP. Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 12 years of experience promoting database solutions or data management software. Experience in planning, pitching, and executing a territory business. Experience working with C-level executives and cross‑functionally across all levels of management. Experience managing agreements or partnerships. Preferred qualifications: Experience delivering cloud agreements within traditional enterprises. Experience working in a sales role and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to impact business goals. Knowledge of Oracle licensing policies and constructs for running on cloud hyperscalers. Knowledge of multiple Oracle database deployment archetypes such as data warehousing, custom and ISV applications. Knowledge of the Oracle ecosystem including the Oracle Applications portfolio and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Responsibilities: Identify customer’s Oracle estate, workload types, qualify and progress opportunities for Oracle on Google Cloud. Work with the country leadership team to develop segment‑specific plans for winning and migrating Oracle workloads to Google Cloud. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (sales representatives, customer engineering, marketing, and the Independent Software Vendor/partner team) to develop and execute go‑to‑market strategies. Position Oracle on GCP value to customers that have Oracle as their platform to build new cloud‑native apps with Oracle, leveraging Oracle Database on GCP for databases and GCP services for applications. Collaborate with the partner team to activate Oracle‑skilled partners to support the migration of Oracle databases and applications to Google Cloud.
